Finally ready to start the engine this morning. Had to install a couple of hose clamps and buy some 110LL. We added about 3 gals to each tank, drained each one to make sure we got rid of any residue material, drained the gascolator and then purged the hole fuel line by running the electric pump a bit thus letting some fuel flow into a small container....and then finally connected the fuel line to the engine.
The engine started immediately! Did a couple of taxi tests and hard brakes so as to set the brake pads. Couple of items to correct.... SL40 squelch seems not to be cooperating. RPM setting on EIS needs to be set to 6... Oil temps seem to be too high - 306F too soon... and oil pressure seems to be too high at low RPM (99 psi).
