Brief Description: Finally picked up aluminum order from Trident
Finally the aluminum order is ready. I had to rent a U-haul to go pick it up at Trident Metals in Austin TX. Not bad for only $38. As you can see from the pictures below...don't always believe what you are told. I asked for a 12 ft trailer (inside length) and I did not get what I asked for. A little bit of rope and problem solved. The precious shipment made it back to San Antonio. My son Alex and I unloaded the sheet metal onto the wood racks I had built from my previous project. I can't believe that these aluminum sheets will eventually become an aircraft. I seems so far away though and so much to do.
