Installed new vacuum pump cover and gasket and did another engine run-up to test for oil leaks. Looks clean now. Then we encountered an EFIS 'hard AHRS' error and had to return the AF3500 to the factory. They replaced the AHRS unit and returned the unit to us. We reinstalled the AF3500 and all now looks good. (NOTE: Had to remove and re-install the canopy to take out the AF3500 - sure glad we got the tip-up option!). Then fully installed both cowlings with all the screws and pins. Looks like an airplane! Calibrated the fuel settings and magnetometer for the AF3500. Problem with #1 tank sensor required removal and reseating. Now shows fuel correctly. Ready for first flight. Wx may be good enough the next two days for that first flight!
