Great to get back to the project after our 'vacations'. It was still there - no magic genie had done any work (oh well!). So we continued to work on the forward baffles. needed to continue to cut them down to get the top cowl to fit properly. Then we trimmed them to the proper 3/8 to 1/2 inch clearance from the top and cleaned up the cuts. Tested the fit with both the top and bottom cowls installed. Now ready to start cutting patterns for the cowl sealing material. Investigated methods for securing the baffle covers at the bottom of the cylinders. Will probably go with the rod method. Also completed the offset bend for the alternator bracket. Now have a good fit with the alternator in all it's range. Need to get the alternator belts to complete alternator installation.
