Determined correct alternator belt for us (#7355) and installed, then tightened alternator bolts and safety wired bolts. Cut hole for alternator cooling air in forward baffle and mounted cooling air tube to alternator. Cut two lenghts of stainless steel rods for the inboard lower baffling cylinder retainers. Threaded the ends of these rods then bent them for installation. Determined they needed a sleeve to prevent rubbing on the inter-cylinder air dams so encased the rods with sleeving. Then installed these rods and tightened them for a good fit. Also cut two more stainless steel rods for the outer lower baffling cylinder retainers and bent these to prevent interference with the engine cylinder fuel lines. Installed both of these retainers to complete the installation of the lower baffling cylinder retainers.
