Brief Description:  Cabin Frame and Panel

Continued work on Cabin Frame. Measured and marked spacing for drilling inner band of cabin frame. Drilled inner band starting from center working toward the ends. Clecoed as drilled to insure a tight fit. Also measured and marked spacing for drilling outer band as well. Started drilling one side again working from the middle outward. Completed one side drilling of outer band. Need to complete other side, then fit remaining frame and drill as well.Reviewed panel layout and decided to go with the larger display offered by Advanced Flight Systems. This required moving the switches and breakers, but seemed to end up with a more 'balanced' panel layout. Received the panel layout dimensions for the Advanced Flight Systems larger panel. To accomodate this larger panel, had to cut off the existing end of the left forward rib and make another flange pointing in the opposite direction. This larger instrument will be a tight fit, but will be much easier to read. Received the Air Gizmo's panel mount for the EXP IV - will fit in nicely just above the switch panel. Once all these changes were made, we riveted in the panel support angles and clecoed in agin the forward deck, panel, and forward skin. Also clecoed in the aft top skin for alignment of the cabin frame. Starting to look like an airplane!
