Brief Description: Aggravated - Messed Up Left Elevator Trim Tab
Day started okay as I riveted the trim servo mounting brackets to the servo cover plate. That went fine. But then I really screwed up the Left Elevator trying to bend the tabs where the trim tab will fit. Think I have the idea down but when I used the rivet gun as the Van's instruction's tell you to do, then I over did it. The setup went ok as seen in picture one and two. Picture three is where I should have stopped on the bottom side as it looks like I have a nice bend in there and just need to turn it over and do the other side, but NO! - I go ahead and use the rivet gun which drove the bend deeper into the elevator. See next entry..........Next time I will not use the rivet gun - looks like I had a nice bend without using it.

Got a good angle to bend the tab
Should have stopped here and flipped it over to do the top side.
