Brief Description: Finished riveting the top and nose skins
Calibriated the digital levels together and taped them into place on the hinge brackets. They matched each other exactly, so no additional adjustments were needed before riveting. Started riveting the holes c/t the spar, skin and nose skin together, but I was having an off day. I ended up with nine rivets that didn't seat into the dimples well and needed to be drilled out.
I further messed up a couple of the holes during the drill out and fixed them with NAS1097 (oops) rivets. Whoever came up with oops rivets deserves a Nobel peace prize or something.
All of the holes getting pop rivets had been drilled out earlier than the plans called for so I populated rivets in all the nose skin holes remaining and set them.
Finally, I squeezed the end ribs into place to close out this session.
