Brief Description:  Boiled Linseed Oil Application

Due to salt water operational use I was advised by Rob Loneragan and others to apply boiled linseed oil to all the inner aluminium tubes where possible.
Purchased 4lt Boiled Linseed oil from Bunnings and then further boiled for 1 hr.
Taped all holes using Blue painters masking tape including one end. Then filled each tube one at a time enough to mix through rotating tubes in all directions. A sized rubber stopper (bung) was inserted on the open end after filling with the boiled linseed oil and then removed after treatment and poured oil into the next tube. Tubes were left to drain overnight upright and recycled the drained oil. Soon realised that 1lt is enough for the whole job provided you recycle drained oil.
Soaked used rags in water to avoid possible spontaneous combustion as per directions on bottle.

All nuts and bolts will be coated with Ardrox during assembly.
