I had the old Classic assembly manual delivered with the kit and unfinnished LSX wing instuctions only. The new LSX manual has only just now been completed by the manufacturer.The new LSX manual looks fantastic and I look forward to using it. I will cross check with the Classic to compare sections that are still the same. One benifit of a delayed project is I get to work with Real Instructions! Frustration was evident on the STS site (Searey Technical Site) because of the many differences from the previous Classic Searey model.Guys were building from photos and many calls to the factory etc. Should save alot of uncertainty and time now. Downloaded latest versions of the LSX assembly manual from the STS File cabinet. Printed off each section using my Samsung colour laser printer...Ouch...cost a small fortune on colour toners! Ended up being 3" high all printed off. I plan to replace updated pages as they appear on STS web site. I rather work off hard copy than from a computer screen or ipad, also is good to have a hard copy with all logs belonging to the aircraft. It was sure worth expense in colour and I also used 100gsm paper which is slightly thicker and sturdier than the standard 80gsm paper.
