Brief Description:  Boiled Linseed Oil Application

Cleaned external tubes with mineral turpintine to remove any linseed oil stuck to tubes that will be covered with fabric ie. all flying surfaces. This will be to prevent any non adhesion of fabric to metal joints. I will further clean with MEK prior to covering later on. I also done the same for any visible tubes, so that the linseed oil does detract the asthetics of the anodised aluminium eg. float struts etc. The linseed oil application is alredy pretty dry and would be very difficult to remove once fully dry over the next few weeks. Just got to it in time, so was not a problem to clean up. Fortunatlely my process of treatment did not make to much mess but could cause all sorts of problems for someone that did not clean up in the first week or so after application. This stuff sticks REAL GOOD!

Still got wing spars and main struts to do.
