Brief Description:  Top skins, root rib, fuel tank.

Got a lot done today. Top skins were placed onto the wing and drilled out to final size. When we went to drill out and install the root rib, I realized that I had already riveted the three holes on the rear spar so those were drilled out and then the root rib was installed. All holes were drilled out, deburred, surfaces painted, and then riveted onto the spars and bottom skin. The angle for the root top skin was slid into place and crimped between the rivet locations to fit it with the camber of the wing. Meanwhile I was working on the fuel tank. All of the fittings were screwed on and the fuel sender was bent to the 125 degree angle and installed in the tank. Filled with fuel to leak test and found about one drip per 30 seconds from the feed fitting, which should be sealed when the loc-tite is put on. Fuel sender worked when it was filled up, so I cut and fitted the grounding wires for it and installed them, and put loctite on the screws. I'll do the same for the fuel fittings next time. Lastly, Dan finished up the nut plates for the wing inspection ports.
