Wheel doors were fitted to the rebated areas in center wing, and then bonded w/ Jeffco resin and flox mixture. Excess adhesive was cleaned up as much as possible in order to reduce amount of sanding and grinding later. Longer, rectangular panels were fitted in place and reference holes were drilled through nut plates from the inside of the wing (see picture 3). Then, skin and core on the inner surface of the panels in reference hole areas (0.5" dia) was removed and potted with mixture of Jeffco resin and micro. Upon cure, excess material was sanded, holes were redrilled and countersunk from outter side. Panels were installed using MS24694-S54 screws.
