Brief Description: Pilot side door window installation.
Once again the door was cut to the stiffener ground down to have the window flush and the corners radiuses to the right size. The window is covered in duct tape to protect it from scratching or resin. The window is over size and needs to be cut to shape on the ban saw (electric hack saw) so it is placed, taped on the outside of the door and marked on the inside and then a ½” border is added were it will be resined to the door frame. The tape was removed on the border and ground for a better fit and also have the resin adhere to it when placed on the inside. I weighted it down and cleaned up the resin from the face of the door with acetone.
