Brief Description: Work on fitting Co-Pilot retract door
The Co-pilot side retract door went much better for fitting this morning. I had it sized in only 1 hour and not 2 hours like the Pilot side. They were cut to length and duct taped applied on in preparation for the bump over the leg bootie. I got the tabs ready for installation on the main gear and was glassed into place with the help of spot-lite bondo to hold in positioned before mixing the resin. I drilled the holes on the aluminum plates that get bolted to the spindle bolts. I miss drilled the holes on the first plate so instead of using a file to move the holes I tig welded them closed and re-drilled. It’s OK to play with all the toys and tools in the shop.
