-Verified the front spar of the stab was tightly clamped, re-measured several times, and carefully marked the bolt hole locations on the splice angle, taking into account close edge distance tolerances on the longeron. -Drilled the 4 front holes out to #30, then #12, installed bolts -Drilled the 4 rear spar holes (were #30) out to #12, installed bolts -Trimmed the bottom of the front vertical stab spar per the plans -Had to mark and drill a locating hole in the rear spar of the vertical stab -Clecoed on the F-884 front spar attach plate -Squared the vertical stab by measuring from the top to the outboard of the horiz.stab -Marked the location of the three bolt holes in the bottom of the rear spar. The callout in the plans is wrong, I'm glad I saw this on Brent Owens Kitlog website. -Drilled the 3 holes to #30, then to 1/4" for AN4 bolts.
