I fabricated an inside backer plate for the transponder antenna. Unfortunately, it won't work because the threads on the antenna are too short. I'd need to make the hole larger and doing so would weaken the base as I made it. Instead of making a larger backing plate, I'll just use wide area washers and call this done.
