Decided that I would not wait for the cowl before I painted. I will get as much done as I can and paint the cowl whenever it gets here. I taped off everything that I didn't want to paint and primed it. Then I painted the finish white a little higher than needed so all I had to do was put the tape on for the stripes and put plastic on the lower half and be ready to do the finish blue
