Brief Description:  fitting the test cowl

After talking with the cowl maker we cut holes in it so we could take pictures and measurements.
On the front side there is about 3 inches of space between the rocker cover and the cowl and on the top there is about an inch and a half from the throttle bracket and the top..
He is going to take about 4 inches off the front which will give it the proper taper back to the attach points and bring down the top.
He was trying to make it fit this plane with two different engine options but is now only trying to make it fit this one which is 4 inches narrower.
He is planning on taking the next test part up to MIssouri himself and doing the test fitting so he can see exactly how it looks.
My friends Al & Brenda have the same plane and engine that I am building so if it is good on theirs is will be the same for me.
They have a lot more experience in this than I do.
I just hope it won't be another 5 months before it is done.
