Finished the painting and took off all the tape and plastic. Had some runs and a spot where there must of been contamination on the primer which made the paint crinkle up and look like spider webs. From 10 feet away you don't see the goofs. When I get time I can do some sanding and polishing to get most of it off and do a little touch up painting on the one spot. Put the wing seals in place and put the wings on along with the canopy. Had to get all the protective plastic film off the plexi glass on the rear window and canopy. All the wing lights work so I guess I wired it properly ! Put the prop back on and took it for a taxie ride to condition the brakes and calibrate the compass. Push the throttle in and it really picks up speed fast. I guess it wants to get the cowl on and fly.
