My friend George and I spent a total of 12 hours on this part of the build today. Fiberglass is a messy job. The layers gave us problems because they didn't seem to fit properly. We ended up just doing it the best we could and whatever doesn't look right will have to be repaired later. At least with fiberglass you can cut and shape it until you get it the way you want. They make filler in BIG containers so sooner or later I will be satisfied----I hope !
Tomorrow the engine is going to be delivered. It is slowly getting there and looking like it might really fly someday.
