Today I removed the bottom wing skins for deburring on the inside surface and priming, then started the installation of the plate nuts in the framework for the access panels.
Made an agreement with the AP for a wing inspection next Saturday proir to the final fitting of the bottom wing skins.
Used a 3/8 drill to bore out the end of the flap & aileron push tube ends for fitting the rod ends.
The rod ends supplied are oversize and it takes a lot of reaming to get them to fit the tube.
I used the stainless steel rivets supplied to secure the rod ends into the push tube.
