More work on the engine cowl, making the covers for the horizontal piano hinge pin. Made out of aluminum, cut into a circle and bent/shaped to fit the cowl, covering a bit of both cowls. This peice of metal will be held by two #6 screws into nutplates. Glen used a dremmel to grind out the fibre glass to the shape of the metal cap. We added some fibre glass to the backside of the cowl to give it some added strength. We did the Service Bulletin for the 4 bolts that hold the air box onto the carb. The bolts are the drilled ones and Glen redid the safety wire.
