Installed the nutplates in the metal strip that holds the upper cowl to the top of the firewall. Thirteen nutplates installed, 3.25 inches is the spacing. Glen worked on the round plate cover that will allow access to the horizontal piano hinge by the front of the cowl. Also removed the fuel hose from the carb to the left fuel tank. It was supposed to be a vent or return line but everybody we asked about it said to get rid of it, so we did. We capped the carb and fuel tank. Tightened the throttle cable nut.
