A beautiful day at the hangar. Had several visitors drop in today, Vito was the first one to stop by and check out our RV6. He had a few good suggestions regarding our project. He recommended that we remove that fuel hose from carb back to left fuel tank, tighten the throttle cablenut, drill a hole in the engine vent line, just up above the level of the cowl to prevent blockage from ice (it could cause the front engine seal to blow). He talked about the importance of a proper engine break in procedure. Then Gary dropped by to have a look, he was out with a relatives dog named Leah. WE talked about doing a weight and balance, he has some scales that we could borrow. Then Jill came by shorly followed by Don M. We did get some work done, mostly sanding the fibre glass on the cowling.
