Brief Description: Installing Top Skin to Right Wing
1. Checked for twist with levels. It is perfect, no twist. I used a level across leading and aft spar at both ends of the wing. both ends are level. 2. I installed the liner around the opening for aileron cable and flap control in ribs #1 & #2. Used Super Glue to seal the two ends. 3. My wife helped me put the top skin onto the wing cage. The skin had gotten dirty so I had to wipe it down with soap and water then paint thinner for all the finger prints. Rolled skin leading edge with edge tool. 4. Installed Clecoes in the top skin. I did every other one in each fib. The skin is fitting perfect to the D-Spar on the outboard end and about a 1/16" gap on the inboard end. This is fine.
