Brief Description: Riveted Ribs &Spars on Right Wing
1. Riveted all the ribs (except root rib) today to the forward and aft spars. This went well mostly.
2. Had a lot of trouble riveting the tie down to the wing. There is only approximatly a 3/4" gap for the head of the rivet gun to fit into. I could not get my pneumatic rivet gun on the two bottom rivets. I was able to use my hand riveter but I still had a tight fit. I had to put a shim over the bottom rivet mandrel ro get a tight fit to pull against. The shim was half of a pop riveter dimple tool.
