I made a nice hole finder for making the center hole in my axel line up with the hole I needed to make in my wheel pant. Worked like a charm! It was just a simple bent strip of ,032 with a hole through it with washers and a rivet on the lower part to keep a space. The actual hole finder part was another hole drilled through both sides of the strip and a rivet inserted in one side to rest inside the axel hole. This left me with a perfectly centered hole directly over where the rivet stem would be. Just drill a new hole in the pant through the already established pilot hole and voila. I also threw in a picture of me since I haven't in a while. My airplane is covered like it is in area 51 but I always keep it like that to minimize the dust on my precious canopy.
