I started out the day by checking the plans to verify if something was correct or not, and it turns out it was not. Back when I did the tail fairing I thought I double checked the plans to verify that the leading edge of the fairing was on top of the turtledeck. I could have swore that is what the plan showed, but it was not the case. I went back and removed the screws and adjusted the fit of the fairing so that it would fit under the turteldeck. I thought when I put it together that it was against common sense to have this fairing above the turtledeck where it could catch wind and even create turbulence over the rudder, turns out common sense was right as usual. Anyhow, it is all fixed and even better than before.
