Brief Description: Drilling Left Main Spar and Seat Mod
Started off the morning by finishing my seat mod, converting it froma dual stick into a single stick. It isn't the prettiest but it should be functional. One day I may decide to put a new piece in but since this should be fine I will leave it for now. If some day I notice the rivets getting loose I will replace it. They will be under the cushions anyhow so asthetically it makes no difference either.
I made a quick run to harbor frieght for a nibbler and while I was gone a package was delivered. I FINALLY got my hex adapter in today that allowed me to countersink the rest of the spar cap under the lip. It was packed in a box entirely too big for it too. I get to drilling and the adapter is bent, it has a 1.5mm wobble in it. I took it slow and was able to get the holes countersunk so I wasnt stuck waiting again for a new one. I called Avery tools and talked to Bob in the tech department and he was so nice and is sending a new one to me right away.
A lot of work done today, so much so that I killed my craftsman drill battery TWICE! and fully charged it between uses.
This big box for a hex adapter?
All stiffeners installed (well at least all drilled)
