After allowing the epoxy to cure for several days (temps in the 30s), I seperated the light from the epoxy/micro, and the epoxy/micro from the fuselage skin. The duct tape and turtle wax worked well as a non-fixant. I sanded the flush mount piece to shape and rechecked the fit...perfect.
