Brief Description: Conformal mount, top anti-collision beacon, part 4
After final sanding, I painted the bracket (2 coats, plus top-coat).
I rewired both beacons so that they could be removed from the aircraft without someone having to crawl into the fuselage. I used insulated blade connectors, and drilled the wire hole to 1/2" so that the connectors will fit through. I took one more trip into the fuselage to crimp these wires to their aircraft-end counterparts.
Ops check: Both beacon lights flash, in concert, no smoke or fire.
