Manual Reference:  Elev. Trim cable
Brief Description:  Running the elevator trim cable

I concentrated on the elevator trim cable run from the lower aft fuselage to the stabilizer. First I drilled 3/8" holes in the aft fuselage bulkhead (image 1): These hosted adel clamps which secured the trim cable upward to the turtle deck. I ran the cable through a snap bushing, then used another adel clamp to hold the barrel clamp splice securely to the turtle deck (image 2). Finally, I used snap bushings to route the wire through the left stab.

Note: Watch the next update. I'm going to run the cable through a 3/8" OD clear plastic tube from Lowe's from the turtle deck through the stabilizer all the way into the elevator. This will protect the cable from chafing as it passes into the elevator.
