Brief Description:
Fabricate, Install Rudder Stop brace
1300 - 1354
Fabricate rudder stop brace from .063 x 3/4 x 3/4 angle.
Debur and smooth all edges with bench sander and s/b wheel.
Clamp brace to rudder stop brace skin stiffeners with cleco clamps.
Using 4 separate levels, positioned tailcone sides to level.
Match drill rudder stop brace to aft bulkhead with #40 drill, then cleco, 4x.
Remove brace and debur all holes, remove chips.
Cleco brace to bulkhead.
Verifying tailcone was not twisted using levels, match drilled rudder stop brace to skin stiffeners with 12" long #30 drill, cleco every hole.
