Brief Description: Attempted to attach horizontal stab to tailcone
Flying solo, attempted to install the horizontal stabilator to the tailcone. This consists of placinga bolt through a washer, the bracket, a second washer, the bearing, a third washer, and the nutplate attached to the other side of the bracket on each of two brackets. The two washers which the bearing is sandwiched between were selected before the tailcone was attached to the rear bulkhead to make a tight fit. To simplify assembly, those two washer are lightly super-glued to the inside of the brackets. In repated attempts, I found it impossible to slide the bearings into place without knocking one or both of the wasters off on both brackets. Ten cuss words
