In between covering the console in leather, and waiting for the Kwik Grip to go tacky, I also started making up a couple custom vents for the top of the glareshield. These will allow hot air to escape from behind the instrument panel.
I was gong to rivet these in place, but I'm now thinking of fitting nutplates so I can remove them later if needed. Could be handy if I ever damage the fine mesh and want to replace it.
