Did quite a bit of work on the centre console today. First up I rebuilt the hinge for the lid. The factory-built version was pretty crappy and the lid didn't shut properly, so I drilled out the rivets, threw the hinge away, and made a new one. It's much better.
Before rivetting the hinge back into place I also cut up some stiff felt drawer-liner material that I got from Ikea and used it to line the inside. It's just glued into place with Kwik-Grip contact adhesive.
