A few more parts arrived today from Classic Aero, so it felt like Christmas again. I received my padded glareshield trim, ailerod push rod boots, and a piece of leather so I can upholster my centre console in the same material as the seats.
Tonight I thought I'd fit the glareshield trim. It comes with a drilling template which makes it pretty easy to mark and drill the screw holes. It's then just a simple matter of screwing it into place.
It took longer to cleco the skin into place than it did to fit the padded trim.
With the skin back on the airframe I thought I'd also drill the cable penetration for the Horis PFD GPS receiver. If my fancy Skyview system were to ever fail on me then I'll still have my stand-alone Horis to get me home.
