More work today on the centre console. After cutting the bottom off last weekend, today I fabricated a couple angle brackets for fixing it to the floor. This proved quite time consuming as I had to modify the bottom of the console further so that the aluminium angle could fit on the inside edge (to allow clearance for the screw heads).
Another modification was the addition of a couple bits of flat aluminum bar to act as spacers. The console is quite a bit wider than the centre support bracket that it fixes to, so I added a spacer to each side to make for a better fit. Easy to do, but again, just time consuming.
Also today I made up the two brackets for the fresh air vents. I'll finish these off tomorrow.
