While completing all the wing wiring I realised that I hadn't yet installed the wires to the fuel tank level sensors. This would have been much easier done before attaching the wings, but no mention of any such precaution in the instructions anywhere. I had to buy a special right-angle ratchet screwdriver just to get into the space, and then work by feel, becuase it's physically impossible to see the attachment point. The reflection in the fuselage skin did help.
With both fuel tank sensor wires installed and terminated I turned on my Skyview screens and was suprised to see that the right tank shows 11 litres. I suspect something has come adrift inside the fuel tank, probaly while transporting the wings (1,000km by road) from Roxby Downs to Mount Gambier. I might need to get a borescope to check it out.
