Brief Description: Initial preparation of ribs for starboard wing
It was fairly cold outside today so rather than try to heat the shop to a comfortable temperature, I decided to bring the starboard wing and tank ribs inside for flange straightening (90 degrees to rib web) and fluting. Before the straightening and fluting, however, I deburred all the flange edges using the drill press and a scotchbrite wheel. Once the deburring was complete, I did the remainder of the work on the dining room table (much more comfortable than the workshop). All the ribs with the exception of the tank ribs were completed with good results.
The tank ribs, however, were quite twisted as compared to the leading edge ribs. I decided to set them aside temporarily until I could do some research on builder forums. The port wing ribs were also twisted but I don't recall them being quite as bad.
