I trimmed the canopy skirts to 1/4" outside the scored lines per the shop manual earlier but this was a mistake. When fitting the skirt I found that it was a little short in one area so I would suggest leaving a bit more material than the suggested 1/4". Anyway, I began the fitting process on the starboard skin today. It is a tedious process of matach drilling and repetitive trimming to get the best fit.
By the way, the best fit is just that, the best fit possible. I am not happy with the overall fit. The skirt tends to gap at the curves on the aft 1/3 of the canopy. Have no idea how I am going to make it look good.
