Brief Description: Stiifeners, elevator tube, ELT, battery, and patch
Began today by adding a layer of glass cloth to reverse side of foam stiffeners. Next, I fabricated a metal patch for the hole in the fuselage where the step is installed on RV-8As. I plan to install this patch from the inside of the fuselage with some simple blind rivets. Also plan to seal with a little RTV.
The ELT mounting bracket was reinstalled with the ELT and also the battery tray. The wiring was reattached for the battery connections and the master relay. The ground wire was reattached to the longeron.
The elevator push/pull tube was reinstalled, the bolt torqued, and marked with torque seal.
