Spent my time in the shop this afternoon working on the fasteners for the landing light lenses. I decided to use six platenuts on each tip, three on the top and three on the bottom. I used a combination of solid rivets where I could squeeze and blind rivets where the squeezer yoke couldn't access. I was afraid to try bucking the rivets in the rather delicate fiberglass.
After getting the platenuts installed I countersunk the #6 holes in the plexiglass lens for screws. The starboard side was completed and all but the countersinking was completed on the port wingtip.
