Brief Description:  Upper cowl half baffles

I drilled and attached the air flow baffles to the inside of the upper cowl. The baffles were epoxied into place and per the shop instructions the cowl was installed. Apparently, if the attachment is done on the bench the cowl may be hard to reinstall. The baffles add stiffness which can cause the cowl to distort just enough to make installation difficult. The recommendation is to let the baffle epoxy cure with the cowl in place.

I am finding that where fiberglass is concerned it's best to do the work with the fiberglass components installed on the airframe if at all possible. Work done on the bench just doesn't seem to fit as well as when components cure installed on the airframe.
