Brief Description: Reworked floor panels and foot wells
I originally covered the floor panels and foot wells with a vinyl stair tread material from Lowes. It was attached with a 3M contact cement. Unfortunately, the bond was not good enough so the edges and corners of the vinyl would sometimes curl up depending on temperature in the workshop.
The remedy was to replace the vinyl with wing walk material sourced from Aircraft Spruce. This material seems to stick much better and looks pretty good. It's should be very durable. The only downside will be cleaning the rough surface when it gets dirty.
