The cowl is still going to require some finish glass work to get a smooth finish at the intakes. I also need to do some layups with glass inside the cowl to create some flanges at the front outboard edges. Also need to fabricate hinge pin secure mechanism, whatever that will be.
I finished up with the oil door. It is pretty much a stock installation except that I used platenuts and screws rather than rivets so the door can be removed if necessary (similar to Piper Archer oil door). For now I am using the stock camlocs but may look at something different later.
