I am posting this shop activity under one entry though I actually spent a few hours over three days to get to this point. I have continued to mark the canopy, tape the cut line, and cut about 1/4" each time. I am down to the point now where I need to sand some small arcs in the canopy where the plexi touches the vertical frame members. Once these arcs are cut I should be able to pull the plexi down and clamp to the frame so I can mark and make any final cuts around the canopy base. Then it will be time to cut the windscreen from the slider portion.
I also marked the slider frame today for the location of the rivet holes (canopy and skirt).
