Brief Description:  Starter circuit experiment and flap system

I spent all my time today on two tasks. The first was determining how to wire the Showplanes Flap Positioning System (FPS) with two stick mounted switches and a special circuit to deactivate all switches on the rear cockpit stick (for use when non-pilot is occupying seat). I had originally planned to put all the grounds on the rear stick thru a SPDT toggle that would break all the grounds on the rear stick. Unfortunately, this couldn't be done with the flap ground without deactivating both sticks. So, I needed a way to break the grounds for all the rear stick switches except flaps which required interrupting the power circuit. I think the solution is to use a DPDT switch breaking the rear stick grounds with one pole and breaking the power feed on the rear stick flap switch on the second pole. The two stick switches will be wired into the FPS control box in parallel. I will also consider some sort of flap switch guard on the stick to protect against inadvertently activating the flaps above max flap airspeed.

The remainder of the day was spent experimenting with the starter circuit to see if it was possible to use a single power wire to the front stick from the relay behind the instrument panel (this is my stick starter switch mod). I wasn't able to do this without eliminating the LED warning light. I will have to reverse two changes already made to the Infinity stick grips (replace the ground wire on the momentary starter switch and replace the common/ground wire on the flap switch). I will have to do this on both stick grips.
