Brief Description:  Additional wiring tasks

Shop tasks this afternoon included:

1) Running the circuits for power and ground for the PS3000 intercomm. Power was supplied at the radio buss and a label was added for the intercomm feed.

2) Added a couple ground posts by creating a "strap" between two of the insulated posts (mounted on Van's plastic insulated strip) and existing ground posts. Moved some ground wires to reduce wires per ground post and clear an area where I will be running the parking brake cable later.

3) Installed a wire for the autopilot connect/disconnect between stick area and TruTrak connector.

4) Replaced wire labels on the remaining prefabricated instrument harnesses.

5) Bundled some of the wiring with tie wraps to neaten the runs.

6) Studied the circuit connections for the Trutrak autopilot and PS3000 intercomm. Gaining a better understanding of the circuits. I am going to need some instruction on how to best handle all the shielding grounds on the mic, phone, and aux audio cables. Also need to determine how to wire the toggle switch for selecting music input from front or back seat (again, not sure about the ground wires and shielding). May have to find an avionics tech at WBF or maybe Commander-Aero.
